archisprint
a different approach to
building design
what’s a design sprint?
A design sprint is a multi-day process for answering critical business questions through design, prototyping, and testing ideas with customers.

So what’s the purpose of archisprint:

-
To test if we can cut down DA preparation and submission time from months to days
-
To test if we can take some of the learnings from the tech industry in product design and apply them to architecture
-
To try different pathways to creating design.
where’s all this going?
So it was a natural curiosity coupled with a sense of adventure that propelled us forward and in some ways there’s no going back. It has already forced us to re-think our assumptions about how we approach projects and how we work with clients.

Even if the classic multi-day design sprint format is not adopted, there is no doubt that the tools, learnings and principles certainly do apply and will permeate through architecture in due course.

In this website we’ve captured our experience in testing out archisprint so that others can benefit from what we have learned and will continue to do so.
